About Program
The Bionutrition and Food Innovation specialty program under the Biology Study Program of the Ubaya Faculty of Biology received a good response from prospective students from leading high schools in East Java. The great interest from prospective students to study the field of functional food-based food science related to nutrition, entrepreneurship, processing technology, industrial management and food innovation has encouraged the Faculty of Biology to establish a Bachelor's Program in Biology with a specialty in Bionutrition and Food Innovation. In line with this, active students of the Bionutrition and Food Innovation Specialty Program from various classes also expressed satisfaction with the learning and facilities provided. Students not only learn about food processing technology, but also the nutrition of natural ingredients and products, regulations and standards in an effort to produce and innovate food products. It is hoped that this specialty program will answer the needs of graduate users such as the food industry to create innovative functional food products and strengthen Indonesia's position in terms of food products in the large ASEAN market.
